    UFC Fight Night 57 bonuses

Frankie Edgar, Oleksiy Oliynyk, Paige VanZant and Kailin Curran each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 57 event.

Edgar and Oliynyk won “Performance of the Night” bonuses, while VanZant and Curran earned “Fight of the Night” honors.

Edgar (18-4-1 MMA, 12-4-1 UFC) completely dominated Cub Swanson (21-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC) for nearly the full five rounds – but instead of taking what would’ve been an easy unanimous decision, Edgar got Swanson to tap to a rear-naked choke with just four seconds left in the fight. It was the latest finish in UFC history.

Oliynyk (50-9-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) picked a pretty impressive way to get his 50th career victory. He was in trouble against Jared Rosholt (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in the first round, but out of nowhere, Oliynyk laned a right, then a left that planted Rosholt on the canvas. From there, it was a quick finish.

In a fun fight between two fighters making their UFC debuts, VanZant (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) topped Curran (3-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a TKO midway through the third round. It was a bout that had a little bit of something for everyone. The two slugged it out early, but then spent a fair amount of time trading position on the ground, and a lot of time in the clinch. But in the third, VanZant got a trip takedown and started pounding Curran out. The win brought her to tears.

UFC Fight Night 57 took place at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. The card aired on FOX Sports 1 and streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

Edgar was echt fantastisch.

Matt Wiman def. Isaac Vallie-Flagg via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
Deze decision was ook erg raar. Alle 3 de rondes voor Wiman?!
