Coker plans to speak with Fedor about potential return

Bellator MMA CEO Scott Coker recently appeared on the Sherdog Radio Network’s “Beatdown” show, and revealed that he would be going to Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2014 in Tokyo, Japan on Dec. 31. Coker intends to ask Fedor Emelianenko if he has any interest in fighting again. "The Last Emperor" retired in 2012, following a win over Pedro Rizzo.
“I’ve heard mixed signals,” said Coker as transcribed bu Tristen Critchfield for Sherdog. “The last time I talked to [his people], they were basically saying he’s retired and he’s working for the government supporting MMA, the growth of MMA in Russia. I’m going to the New Year’s Eve show in Japan, so I’ll be over there and I’ll be talking to him and seeing if there’s any interest.”
Fedor fought for Coker four times; three of them were co-promotions with M-1 Global, which is run by Fedor's manager. Fedor went 1-3 in Strikeforce, beating Brett Rogers and losing to Fabricio Werdum, Bigfoot Silva, and Dan Henderson in succession.

Misschien moet Coker minder vertellen over wie hij allemaal van plan is te gaan spreken en meer gaan doen. Hij is van plan om met Brock te praten en nu van plan om met Fedor te praten.

Fedor zal overigens niet terugkeren dus zal Coker het voorlopig moeten doen met Tito Ortiz als zijn grote ster

Hoop dat Fedor retired blijft, de man heeft niets meer te bewijzen en is al een tijd over zijn prime heen, er is alleen maar te verliezen voor hem zoals eerder gezegd.
