It’s been a bad month for Jon Jones and his family.

Two weeks after UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones tested positive for a pair of banned substances and was removed from UFC 200, Jones’ older brother has been benched for a doping violation.

Arthur Jones, a defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts, will miss four games without pay for reportedly violating the league’s PED policy, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. The substance for which he tested positive is presently unknown.

Since signing a five-year, $33 million deal with the Colts in March 2014, Arthur Jones has only played nine games with the team after several injuries put him on the sidelines. He has yet to comment publicly on his positive test.

Jon Jones (22-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC) has denied knowingly taking any banned substances. He is temporarily suspended pending disciplinary proceedings with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, the UFC’s anti-doping partner, and the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the July 9 pay-per-view event where he was supposed to fight Daniel Cormier (17-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC).

Jones faces a two-year suspension from USADA and a potential concurrent suspension from the NSAC. The UFC 200 bout was to serve as a title unifier after his return to the cage in April following a yearlong layoff due to his role in a hit-and-run accident.

Prior to winning the interim light heavyweight title against Ovince Saint Preux in April at UFC 197, Jones talked about getting clean and sober, ceasing his use of alcohol and marijuana. His words came two months after his younger brother, NFL outside linebacker Chandler Jones, reportedly suffered an adverse reaction to synthetic marijuana while under contract with the New England Patriots. Two months later, Chandler Jones was traded to the Arizona Cardinals.
