Tiffany Van Soest vs. Kalyn Schwartz completes Invicta FC 19 fight card

The lineup is set for next month’s Invicta FC 19.

As previously announced, the event marks the pro debut of muay Thai and kickboxing standout Tiffany Van Soest (0-0). Officials today announced she’ll fight fellow newcomer Kalyn Schwartz (0-0). Sherdog.com first reported the bout in a strawweight bout.

Invicta FC 19 takes place Sept. 23 at Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The event streams live on UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, interim flyweight champ Jennifer Maia (13-4-1) looks to defend her title when she meets Roxanne Modafferi (19-12), and in the co-feature, atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki (13-1) takes on Jinh Yu Frey (5-1).

Van Soest has been tearing things up for the Lion Fight muay Thai promotion for years, where she’s a two-time featherweight (125 pounds) champion, and also the super bantamweight (120 pounds) titleholder. She now meets Schwartz, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran based in Oregon. She makes her pro debut after a 6-0 run as an amateur, according to Invicta officials.
