Ross Mason is the most exciting new Middleweight fighter in the UK! If you have not experienced one of his trademark high-octane battles yet then you have to and soon.

Ross Mason hit the Ultimate Combat circuit back at Ultimate Combat 7: World Domination. He fought in the opening bout and was pitched against Pro-Mai reality fighting 5th Dan, Lee Aylett. The fight quickly got bloody in the storm of knees and elbows which were exchanged but Mason had control and eventually won by rear naked choke. A star was born and after his fight, Pride Star Gilbert Yvel (who was watching in the audience) offered Mason a fight then and there on his show in Holland.

Ross Mason would eventually go on to compete in The All-Star eight Man Eliminator for the Ultimate Combat Middleweight World Title Belt. The Quarter Finals of these eliminators were held at Ultimate Combat X and Mason was matched against German Top Team member Patrick Suhl.

Suhl is best known for his Ultimate Combat European Championship Cup Challenge with Sol â€œZero Toleranceâ€? Gilbert and 15 second submission win over Irish BJJ specialist David Patterson. Suhl came in to The Octagon with all the credentials needed to be in the running for The UC World Title. However It was Rossâ€™ night and he unleashed a attack that the German could not even contain. Ross won by key lock and claimed his place in the Semi Finals of the Ultimate Combat Middleweight World Title race.

Nathan Schouteren was drafted in to the eliminator for The Ultimate Combat World Title on the highest recommendation of Shooto Hollandâ€™s Martijn De Jong and The president of Dutch Shooto, Iwan De Groot.

Schouteren is a scary man, although always polite and jovial he has a dark glint in his eye which probably earned him his nickname, Satan! Nathan Schouteren came as a relative unknown to Ultimate Combat and destroyed one of Ultimate Combatâ€™s most successful and popular fighters, Lars â€œBad Boyâ€? Besand. Before his Ultimate Combat debut Schouteren was widely regarded a ground-fighter . Satan managed to catch Besand on the back foot and pursued him relentlessly battering him from pillar to post before knocking Besand down and gaining victory by TKO in only 2:39 of the first round.

What we know about Schouteren is that he is Dutch Pancrace Champion and has an awesome Professional MMA record of seventeen wins and only two losses and has fought in MMA bouts all over the World and has faced the toughest opponents from many countries. The has faced Russian Sambo wrestlers, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu masters and French Savate Champions, to name but a few.

Rafles La Rose is trained at Tatsujin Dojo by Golden Gloryâ€™s Martijn De Jong. La Rose is a true veteran of the European Mixed Martial Arts circuit. He is a highly experienced Shooto fighter who has fought in events all over the World including 2 Hot 2 Handle and Russian M1 where he faced the mighty Andrey Seminov.

This will be Rafles third Ultimate Combat appearance. He first came to England back in September 2003 when he was part of a four man World Title Eliminator to find the first ever Ultimate Combat Welterweight World Champion. He faced none other that Paul â€œHands of Stoneâ€? Jenkins in the first round. The bout was one of the most exciting ever seen at Ultimate Combat and went to a nail-biting Judges decision. He then returned at Ultimate Combat 8: Retribution where he took on Team S.H.O.O.T. Espanaâ€™s Javier Garcia. The bout was a thrilling seesaw of a Superfight where La Rose seemed to come back from the very brink of defeat and ground and pound the UC World Title challenger in to submission.

Peter Angerer is a very mysterious and charismatic character. He is legend in his home country and is tipped to be the next German in the UFC. Angerer is a 5th Dan Master of Shidokan Karate. Shidokan is known as the Triathlon of Martial Arts. Their competition comprises of three rounds of bare knuckle Karate immediately followed by three rounds of Thai Boxing and then the fight is finished by three rounds of punishing submission wrestling. The winner is the last man standing. Angerer is the leading exponent of Shidokan in his country and has mastered all three disciplines in the art.

Peter Angerer is former Pro Shido World Champion, a Title only recently taken from him by UFC vet Shonie Carter. Angerer will be re-matching Mr International for the Pro Shido World Title at Fists of Fury 4 on September 12th in Zurich. Angerer by his own admission is prefers to stand up (after all he is the reigning German Thai Boxing Champion) but that does not mean his ground skills can be underestimated. Far from it in fact, Angerer actually fought in the 2001 ADCC World Championships.

AARRGGHHH , ik loop er de hele week al te denken , ik ben zelfs zenuwachtig terwijl Nathan dinsdag voor de training nog zei : zo ik heb er echt zin in man , ik ben helemaal niet zo zenuwachtig , met die eeuwige pretoogjes van hem ;-) ............suc6 mannen !!!!!!!!!!!!! ook rafles natuurlijk .

Dion Staring is ook een leerling van me en is de laatste tijd heel erg hard aan het trainen. Zijn gewicht is ong 100kg en heeft een aantal Amateur Shooto partijtjes gedraaid waaronder o.a. 2 x tegen Cheik Kongo! Mensen die erbij waren weten nog wat een ongelofelijk spectaculaire partijen dit waren. Dion heeft in een ver verleden ook nog eens op een 2h2h gala gestaan in Sporthallen Zuid...

Misschien mag ik het nog niet zeggen maar ik doe het toch.
Zojuist ben ik gebeld door de mensen van Ultimate Combat dat Nathan vs Ross Mason idd voor de middleweigth World Title Ultimate Combat is.
Dat betekent 5 rondes van 5 minuten knallende aktie.
Mijn voorspelling Nathan "Satan" Schouteren R1 WTKO!

Die is er. Komend weekend nemen we sowieso de DVD van Ultimate Combat 10 mee, waarop Nathan Lars Besand flink mishandelt!
Het is echt zwaar relaxed om daar te knokken, hele mooie organisatie.
