MWGP Round 1 is booked for Osaka Dome on the 23 of April
MWGP Round 2 is booked in for Saitama Super Areana for June 26th.
The Final Round will also be held in Saitama on August 28th
As well, the participation of a new fighter in the event has been announced.
Pawel Nastula (34), Polish under 96kg Olympic Gold Medalist at the Atlanta Olympics (1996) will be starting some training at Takada Dojo for his MMA debut probablt at Round 2 in a single fight (non-GP). He is also the Cheko national Gold Medalist in the 100kg division in 2002.

weet je nog wat Fujita met de olympische worstelaar deed op oud jaars avond???? Deze man heeft een paar maanden gehad om te kunnen trainen in MMA... dus kan je nagaan.... hij vecht tegen Tamura las ik... ik ben benieuwd...

Pride is HET toernooi, geen twijfel aan mogelijk. Als het de eerste MMA gevecht was van die olympische worstelaar, waarom is hij niet naar KOTC of RITC gegaan?? Om ervaring op te doen?? Zonde...

(PRIDE) The promotion announced the following show dates:
4/3 Yokohama Arena (Bushido)
4/23 Osaka Dome (Middleweight GP)
6/26 Saitama Super Arena (Middleweight GP)
8/28 Saitama Super Arena (Middleweight GP finals)
Meanwhile, it appears that DSE is stating that if Mirko Cro Cop works in UFC in April, he'll be a representative of PRIDE. Mirko did not appear for Friday's rule meeting session for fighters/staff, and Sakakibata noted that if Mirko lost to Coleman that Mirko's shot at the PRIDE Heavyweight Title "could be reversed."
In addition, DSE announced the signing of 34-year old (Polish) Judo star Pawel Nastula, who won the Gold Medal in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic games in Judo (95 kg weight class).
