Wanderlei would face Arona in Pride GP

It's not official yet, but it seems that Wanderlei Silva and Ricardo Arona will face each other in the semifinals of the Pride GP in august. Therefore the other bout will be between Mauricio Shogun and Alistair Overeem.

The hot news came from Marcus Vinicius, the owner of Beverlly Hills Jiu-Jitsu Club, Chute Boxe's branch in USA. In the Forum "Portal do Vale Tudo", Marcus Vinicius told he has got this information directly from Alistair's trainer. Besides that Fabricio Werdum also confirmed that he will get back to Pride ring facing Mark Hunt, also in August:

- I haven't seen this news anywhere over the internet, as it's hot news, said Marcus Vinicius - I hope they're true, that's why I mentioned the sources, the most trustful, just Pride knows if it's really going to happen.

For those who comes to the "Portal" quite often, notice that was Marcus Vinicius who confirmed by first hand the Werdum's fight with Tom Erikson on Pride 29.

Het is nu echt officieel...PRIDE heeft het net bekend gemaakt tijdens Bushido. Alistair vs Shogun en Arona vs Vanderlei.

In eerste instantie stond het vast dat Alistair tegen Vanderlei zou gaan, maar toch nog change of plans

Op grond waarvan worden die wijzigingen doorgevoerd?? Hoe je het ook wendt of keert er staat minimaal (en in dit geval maximaal) 1 Braziliaan in de finale.

Het staat nu idd ook officieel op de site van Pride. Ik hoop dat Silva wint van Arona zodat Alistair en Silva elkaar in de finale alsnog tegenkomen.

Zoals ik al zei in de topic over Allistair vs. Silva..

Dit hoort de finale te zijn...

Shogun is denk ik samen met Allistair de nieuwe garde inde mw gp.

Dus machtig dat de finale een overdracht van de macht zal zijn...
