Just an hour ago i was at Macy's in New York. So i see a line near the GNC store so i was like let me go check it out. Who do i see? Rich Franklin and Matt Hughes signing autographs. i came up got on autograph and asked them a few questions. Here are some interesting facts.

Rich franklin will fight David louiseio at ufc 57 or 58.

Matt Hughes doesn't know who he is fighting.

I then asked both guys if they would fight in pride anytime soon, they both said no and said they were happy in ufc. I was like doesn't pride have better competition then UFC? Matt Hughes then started to talk. He goes pride's lower weight is weak and that the only thing they have on ufc is the heavyweights. I then asked him about fedor, and asked if he thought he was the best fighter in the world. Matt Hughes said no. He said that Fedor is just a punches, one dimensional and has absolutely no ground game. I started laughing but i thin Hughes was serious. He went on to say that arlovsky could beat any pride heavyweights and has a much better ground game then fedor. I tried making my case but he wasn't very nice, so i said it was a pleasure and a good luck.

Would you imagine calling the most well rounded fighter one dimensional?

I think matt hughes should get out more and more of fedor fight.

Toevallig heb ik die topic vandaag ook gelezen.
Ik denk dat het is zoals velen op Sherdog zeggen: Hughes promoot gewoon de organisatie waar ie zelf voor vecht. Is wel logisch aan de ene kant, al gaat het wel wat ver wat ie over Fedor zegt.

je moet het zien als iemand die voor heineken werkt, zal nooit de perfect draft van phillips de hemel in prijzen terwijl de perfect draft gewoon veel lekkerdere biertjer tapt!
