Pacquiao-Morales rematch set in September

Filipino boxing hero Manny “Pacman� Pacquiao Thursday confirmed to GMA News that he will be fighting Mexican Erik “El Terible� Morales again in September.

This will be their third encounter after Pacquiao stopped Morales via a crushing 10th round knockout on Jan. 22 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to sports analyst Quinito Henson, he has talked to Pacquiao publicist Ricardo Jimenez who also confirmed that Morales is determined to avenge his defeat to Pacquiao, and avail of the rematch clause in a contract the two fighters signed at Top Rank.

But Pacquiao said that before his scheduled rematch with Morales in September, he might fight another boxer in June.

The Pacquiao-Morales rematch may be held in Las Vegas again, the report on GMA Network’s “Saksi� news program said.
