dit heb ik geschreven. Aan de Japanologen onder ons om te kijken of het er ook echt staat:
In the only MMA bout of the evening, two of the best European grapplers faced each other. Furdjel de Windt (Team Schreiber), who has dominated the Dutch -70 and -75 kg MMA scene for the last few years, faced young Belgian talent Wim de Putter (Exit BJJ/ Dawsu Leuven). De Putter, who is a purple belt in BJJ, is a coming star, who has already defeated some great names in his short MMA career. De Putter didn’t hesitate in the beginning of the first round, and took the fight to the ground immediately. De Windt, who looked quite surprised by De Putters abilities, was on his back the entire first round, and couldn’t escape the pressure by De Putter. In the second round, the chances were more even. De Putter made some nice standing strikes, which were followed by a takedown by De Windt. De Windt managed to get side control, but couldn’t pin de Putter well enough. De Putter reversed the fight halfway in the second round, and made some good punches from De Windt’s guard. De Putter fought very cleverly, controlling most of the fight. Hereby he earned a well deserved, but a very surprising victory over one of Holland’s best -75 MMA fighters.
