Tijdje geleden was hier de topic dat Kops bokser Mitchell Balker in de finale was gekomen van het New Yorkse Golden Gloves toernooi. Inmiddels is de finale gevochten (17 april) en hij heeft met 5-0 gewonnen van Norman Neely (New South Bronx PAL).
Een topprestatie dus wat hem zomaar een profcontract op zou kunnen leveren.
