In the “old school days” of MMA Frank Shamrock was considered by many to be the most complete fighter. Some would even call him legendary for what he did in Pancrase and the UFC in the mid to late 90’s. But Nick Diaz is not one of those people. The MMAfiend caught up with Nick Diaz and got his thoughts on Frank Shamrock’s “legendary” status.
“He’s not a legend to me, Diaz said. Back in the day he was fighting fixed matches in Japan and supplementing himself with who knows what. Before that he was in a California Youth Prison for robbing houses. If that’s your idea of a legend you might want to reassess your thinking”.
"Some people have so much respect for their superiors
they have none left for themselves."
