MMAFighting.com is reporting that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will return to coaching for the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, according to friend and training partner Tiki Ghosn.
"I'm doing the next 'Ultimate Fighter,'" Ghosn said in a phone interview with TapouT Radio on Monday. "I'm going to be the striking coach for Team Rampage."
Jackson had coached on the seventh season of The Ultimate Fighter opposite Forrest Griffin, and was often criticized for his laid back attitude on the show. Jackson went on to lose
his light heavyweight championship belt to Griffin in the coach vs. coach title bout at UFC 86 last July.
The other coach for the season will be determined next Saturday when champion Rashad Evans faces undefeated Lyoto Machida, with the winner going on to coach the season. The winner of that fight will face Rampage later this year, likely in December when the season ends.
While few details are known about season ten, the UFC held a casting call last month looking for middleweights,
light-heavyweights and heavyweights for the season.
