Let's be serious here, he's just not excited about the idea of doing drug tests now that he's 265 Lbs of steroids.

He should just ask Scott Coker to strip him of the belt he never defended & stay in Japan where he won't get tested so he can continue his horse meat + steroids diet.

Werdum & Rogers are clean fighters and deserve to fight for that belt.

Do you really think Alistair would use steroids while fighting in the USA and then withdraw from a big fight like this?
In case you don't know, his hand was really badly injured from a fight with 5 bouncers, his manager himself stated this on this website.

indeed. The hand injury is legit. Whether or not Alistair is on steroids is a whole different matter. I, for one, cannot imagine him using... having said that... the man has become quite huge

Wellicht zien jullie dit bericht niet als objectief, maar ik kan jullie mededelen dat zijn hand er niet goed aan toe is.

Ik ben vorige week met hem wezen uit eten en hij at meer IBUPROFEN dan Indiaas. (We hadden nog een hilarisch moment dat ze de 3 pijnstillers die hij vroeg in rekening wilde brengen). Maar goed, er meteen 3 vragen is ook wat overdreven Blaster!!

Hij vertelde me dat hij de partij niet kon doorlaten gaan en als ik naar zijn hand keek, begreep ik hem wel. 2mnd ervoor zat er ook al zo’n tennisbal op, flinke ontsteking in zijn middenhandsbeentje, and believe me: Hij had echt pijn.

Jammer dat ik er geen foto van zijn hand heb kunnen maken, ik word soms een beetje misselijk van de tijfels omtrent Alistair. (voor wie de schoen past uiteraard)

Er baalt er maar 1 persoon echt, en dat is hij zelf. Hij keek echt uit naar deze partij!

I don't think anyone is stupid enough to fight Alistair Overeem drugless.:P So in that way I believe everyone is using steroids and/or other stuff at that elite super HW level.

I never met a 'normal' dude in my personal life who's as huge as the average heavyweight MMA fighter. Not even natural bodybuilders, and their only goal is to gain musclemass. Offcourse they do weightlifting, but no natural human can gain that amount of muscle mass when you train all day long. You are constantly burning bodytissue (muscle/fat). Cardio stuff like the stuff MMA fighters do most of the time in their training is worst enemy of proteinsynthesis(gaining muscle mass). Still they have a lot of muscle mass. Genetics? I don't think so.

But I don't have less respect for fighters using doping, because it's a choice you make. Doping doesn't only has advantages. It also says that you are willing to take the risk of the side effects to achieve your goals.

And if you don't have talent, discipline, insight on tactics, ambition, vision and a champions mentality you will never make it to the top, no matter how much doping you use.
Doping is just one of the many factors that makes them elite, but without this factor you will become an elite super HW.
