The two meet up at the Wachovia Center on August 8 in Philadelphia, Pa., in what will be the middleweight champion’s second foray into the UFC’s 205-pound division. Griffin compared the difference between training for a fighter with “incredible” reach like “The Spider” against training for a fighter with “explosive inside power” like his last opponent, Rashad Evans. He did however, stop short of giving too much away and promised, “If I had a game plan, I’d be a genius and tell you about it right now.”

Maar misschien probeert Griffin Silva in de war te brengen door iets anders te zeggen dan hij van plan is?

Ik denk dat Griffin het misschien wel naar de grond brengt, Silva is misschien een blackbelt, maar Griffin is een hardere werker denk ik, en dat kan hem gaan belonen op de grond.

Stand up.... meh denk niet dat Griffin het staand kan gaan maken tegen Silva, maar ik denk ook niet dat het een KO gaat worden voor Silva.

Wel een interessante pot! Als Silva dit wint, kan ie misschien wel voorzichtig gaan proberen om net als Couture ook in 2 gewichtsklassen de titel te pakken.

Behalve dan dat Machida de titel heeft... (en voorlopig niet kwijtraakt naar mijn bescheiden inschatting...)
