Eindelijk weer vechten! Wel echt een lastige tegenstander. 21 februari in Pittsburgh.

With Alvey out, Oluwale Bamgbose meets Daniel Sarafian at UFC Fight Night 82
With Sam Alvey on the shelf with a broken jaw, Daniel Sarafian has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 82.
UFC officials today confirmed Alvey (26-7 MMA, 3-2 UFC) is out of the February fight with Sarafian (9-5 MMA, 2-3 UFC) and announced Oluwale Bamgbose (5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) as his middleweight replacement.
UFC Fight Night 82 takes place Feb. 21 at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The card will air on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. It will be the UFC’s first trip to Pittsburgh since 2011.
Bamgbose made a short-notice UFC debut this past August against Uriah Hall at UFC Fight Night 73 in Nashville, but suffered a first-round TKO loss. Prior to that, the Ring of Combat veteran from New York had five straight first-round knockout wins for that promotion. Now he’ll be looking to get his first UFC win with the benefit of a normal training camp.
Sarafian snapped a two-fight skid a year ago with a TKO win over Antonio dos Santos in Brazil. Prior to that, he had a split-decision loss to Cezar Ferreira and a submission loss to Kiichi Kunimoto. The latter was his debut at welterweight, but for the fight against dos Santos, he returned to 185 pounds. Sarafian was supposed to be back in action earlier this year in June, but was forced out with an injury. His return in Pittsburgh will be his first fight in more than a year, and his first fight in the U.S. in nearly seven years.
Alvey was looking to rebound after a first-round knockout loss to Derek Brunson at UFC Fight Night 73 in August. The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak for Alvey that featured three straight first-round knockouts, including a “Performance of the Night” stoppage of Cezar Ferreira in Brazil.
With the change, UFC Fight Night 82 now includes:
•Cody Garbrandt vs. John Lineker
•Sarah Moras vs. Lauren Murphy
•Derek Brunson vs. Roan Carneiro
•Chris Camozzi vs. Joe Riggs
•Trevor Smith vs. Leonardo Augusto Guimaraes
•Shane Campbell vs. James Krausev
•Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Brandon Thatch
•Shamil Abdurakhimov vs. Anthony Hamilton
•Alex Garcia vs. Sean Strickland
•Oluwale Bamgbose vs. Daniel Sarafian

Dennis Bermudez vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri added to UFC Fight Night 82 in Pittsburgh
A featherweight matchup is heading to Pittsburgh, as Dennis Bermudez (14-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) meets Tatsuya Kawajiri (35-8-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC).
UFC officials recently announced the matchup.
Featuring a welterweight headliner between recent lightweight title challenger Donald Cerrone and fellow New Mexico resident Tim Means, UFC Fight Night 82 takes place Feb. 21 at Pittsburgh’s CONSOL Energy Center. While the official bout order has yet to be released, the night’s main card airs on FOX Sports 1.
A former finalist on “The Ultimate Fighter 14,” Bermudez built a six-fight winning streak after losing on the show’s live finale. However, he’s currently mired in a two-fight losing skid after dropping fights to Jeremy Stephens and Ricardo Lamas.
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Kawajiri has been fighting professionally since 2000, though he just made his way to the UFC in 2014. He’s since won three of four fights, with the lone loss coming in a “Fight of the Night” with Clay Guida. Kawajiri is 8-1 overall in his past nine appearances.
With the addition to the lineup, UFC Fight Night 82 now includes:
Donald Cerrone vs. Tim Means

'Medication' clearance issue moves Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Brandon Thatch to UFC 196
A welterweight bout planned for this month’s UFC Fight Night 83 event has instead been pushed back 13 days and will take place at UFC 196, instead.
UFC officials today announced that Siyar Bahadurzada vs. Brandon Thatch has been rescheduled for the March 5 event in Las Vegas, blaming a “Rukus” inability to gain clearance for needed medication for the change.
“The UFC Fight Night welterweight bout between Brandon Thatch and Siyar Bahadurzada, scheduled for Feb. 21 in Pittsburgh, has been moved to the UFC 196 event in Las Vegas on March 5,” the statement reads. “Thatch, who is using a medication permitted under the UFC/USADA, WADA and Nevada State Athletic Commission anti-doping rules, was unable to obtain the necessary clearance from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission. The Colorado fighter and his team have been in communication with the UFC and USADA throughout this process, and the required paperwork for licensing in Nevada has been filed.
“UFC Fight Night in Pittsburgh will proceed as scheduled with 13 bouts.”
Citing medical privacy issues, UFC officials were unable to offer further information when contacted by MMAjunkie for comment.
Additionally, representatives for both the Nevada State Athletic Commission and Pennsylvania Athletic Commission were not immediately avaialble for comment.
UFC 196 takes place March 5 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
“The Great” Bahadurzada (21-6-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) returns from more than two years away from the sport as he looks to snap a two-fight octagon losing streak. “Rukus” Thatch (11-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) is in a similar position, earning a pair of wins to start his UFC career but then dropping consecutive outings to Gunnar Nelson and Benson Henderson.
