MMAWEEKLY WORLD MMA RANKINGS UPDATED

The latest MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings were released on Wednesday, July 23. This system ranks the Top 10 MMA fighters from all across the world in each of the six most widely accepted weight classes.

Taken into consideration are a fighter's performance in addition to his win-loss record, head-to-head and common opponents, difficulty of opponents, and numerous other factors in what is the most comprehensive rankings system in the sport.

Fighters who are currently serving drug-related suspensions are not eligible for Top 10 consideration until they have fought one time after the completion of their suspension.

Fighters must also have competed within the past 12 months in order to be eligible for Top 10 consideration.

Below are the current MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings, which are up-to-date as of July 23.

Waar zou hij ertussen moeten staan dan?

alle respect voor overeem.. Maar hij heet momenteel geen reden om in die top tien te staan (ook al is zijn huidige niveau dat wel waard)

hij heeft heel lang als LW gevochten.. en is daarbij beetje in de loosing streak gekomen (verloren van kharitanovn, shogun, arona, nogueira).... Daarom komt ie denk ik niet meer voor in de LW top tien (want er zijn inmiddels ff betere op de markt)

Als HW gaat het hem goed af... Maar een winst over buentello, hyun Lee en hunt zijn niet voldoende om je direct in de HW lijst te plaatsen..

ook al zou zijn huidige niveau van top10 kwaliteit zijn.. hij moet nog even iets langer meedraaien als HW en winstpartijen neerzetten.. dan zit ie binnen no time in die top 10

Zouden Manhoef en Mousasi ooit in de top 10 middleweight komen in internationale lijst, nu ze bij dream vechten? Neem aan dat als één van hun Akiyama verslaat ze zijn plek in nemen, maar om dan verder in de lijst te klimmen moeten ze 1 van de gasten bevechten die nu in de top 10 staan en dat wordt lastig.

Wat klopt er niet aan deze rankings? Deze lijst is on point zoals de Amerikanen dat zeggen. Misschien dat Mousasi of Manhoef na de middleweight tournament in september een plaats in deze top 10 verdienen.

En Tony heeft gelijk dat Alistair op DIT moment nog niet in de top 10 thuishoort. Mocht hij tegen Cro Cop vechten en winnen dan hoort hij er zeker in thuis. Alistair heeft enorm veel potentie als zwaargewicht en ik hoop dat hij ooit bij de echte top gaat komen.

Mousasi en Manhoef horen zeker in de top 10 Middleweights.
