King Mo sidelined for 9 months due to extensive knee surgery
The week of former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal went from bad to worse in the past few hours after it was revealed he’d be on the sidelines for nine months due to extensive surgery on his knee

According to his manager, Ryan Parsons, the fighter will undergo the surgery to replace both his anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments in his left knee.
The fighter dropped his title this past weekend when he was stopped in the third round by talented Brazilian stand-out, Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante in Houston, Texas.
