Zondag 22 mei was ik door Loe Hoyer van Hoyer's Productions uitgenodigd voor het eerste oostersvechtkunst gala Back2Basic.
Het gebeuren zou plaats vinden in het Asta Cultureelcentrum te Beek.
Bij binnenkomst proefje je gelijk de oosterse sfeer. Er zouden 11 verschillende vechtsport demonstratie plaats vinden zoals oa: Teakwondo, Wingchun, Thaichi, Ninjutsu, Hapkido, Penckak Silat, Kungfu, Aikido, Nunchaku, Karate, Poekoelan.
Voor de eerste en tweede plaats was er een mooie prijs. In de jury zat niemand minder als Joop Kasteel. Zoals ook bij de andere gala's van vernoemde promotor was ook dit galain de puntjes geregeld. Dank hiervoor. KickboxTV heeft van de demonstratie opnamen gemaakt.

Hele mooie serie Jos. Volgens mij was dit het meest breed mogelijke evenement in Nederland tot nu toe, kwa diverse stijlen!

Ik denk het wel. Loe Hoyer steekt zijn nek voor dit soort evenement uit en met succes. Kijk maar naar Onegate2Far een only MMA gala wat dit jaar in november reeds zijn 3de editie kent en ik kan je verklappen dat dit jaar weer groter en beter wordt dan het laatste jaar.

top om te zien ..........

jaren gelden had je ook zo'n gala, best of the best heette dat volgens mij. Op dat gala waren judo, tae kwondo, karate, pentjak silat en nog wat zaken te bewonderen. op 1 dag werd dan een tournooi gedraaid in de diverse disciplines. Dus op elke tatami iets anders en dan de finales op de centrale tatami. was echt leuk om te zien.

werd dat niet georganiseerd door milco lambrechts ?

Wil wel een keer naar dit evenement. aangezien het hoyer is zal het alleen wel helemaal in Limburg zijn. Goeie foto's.

Doet me denken aan vroeger op tv was toen het hoogtepunt van het jaar als het Martial Arts Gala van Bercy Parijs uitgezonden werd met commentaar van Fred Royers. Dat was afgezien van judo en heel soms puntenkarate de enige vechtsport die we toentertijd op tv kregen.
