Verslag Fight For Victory Egmond aan Zee 15 maart 2014

Lekker ! Weer naar Egmond aan Zee voor een editie van Fight For Victory.
Altijd gezellig, leuke partijen,op tijd beginnen en op tijd stoppen.
Wat wil je nog meer ?
M Sports en Ellen Bruins hadden een mooie line up waar, en dat vind ik zo lastig,
verschillende van mijn favorieten tegen elkaar uitkwamen.
Doe dan maar eens een voorspelling wie er met de overwinning naar huis gaat, pfoeee.
Was wat laat aanwezig in Egmond, dus ik miste nog wat van de laatste wegingen en docterscontroles.
Gelukkig nog wel tijd om even bij te kletsen met oude bekenden, vrienden, trainers en vechters.
En dan nu de downside van deze dag.
Nieuwe camera gekocht waar ik veel van verwachtte, maar dat werd dus een drama !
Foto's zijn op zijn zachts gezegd van matige kwaliteit, althans niet wat ik er van had verwacht en zeker
niet de kwaliteit die jullie hier op MixFight gewend zijn van de reporters
Daarvoor een diepe knieval en ik beloof beterschap.
EERST oefenen met zo'n nieuw kreng voor je er mee aan de slag gaat.
De beveiliging was zoals altijd meer dan prima (vriendelijk doch onverbiddelijk!) en dat hebben we vandaag de dag helaas nodig zoals u weet.
Controle was streng, metaaldetector en alles en iedereen moest zich laten fouilleren en alle tassen werden nagekeken, TOP!
Wat ik bij elk gala geweldig vind, is de betrokkenheid van trainers (vaak niet de minsten!), die de tijd en moeite nemen.
Niet alleen om die jongen of meid, man of vrouw, naar een hoger plan te brengen, maar ook om naar nagenoeg elk gala te gaan met hun vechters.
Ik zag Clyde Petres, Ton Vriend, Lucien Carbin, Brian Jagnarain, Andre Mannaart, Ali Gunyar, Tom Thuring, Bien Gunning en ga zo maar door.
Een bak ervaring en living legends !
Heel veel mensen vergeten wat het allemaal kost qua tijd en inspanning om die ene vechter te volgen bij een wedstrijd.
Je bent per slot van rekening niet alleen 24/7 met je sportschool bezig, maar ook nog eens bijna elk weekeinde de klos (als je het zo mag noemen) om je vechter te begeleiden bij een gala.
Ik vraag me wel eens af of die mensen nog een prive leven hebben
Terug naar het gala.
Na de weging bleven er 24 partijen staan in de N-C-B klasse, zowel dames als heren en we werden, zeker
voor de pauze, verwend met keiharde partijen die voortijdig eindigden.
Begonnen keurig om 18:00 uur en om 23:30 werd de laatste partij afgesloten, dus op een normale tijd naar huis.
Bij de opkomst van de B-klasse partijen werden de vechters naar de ring begeleid door prachtige danseressen en
de rondes werden aangegeven door zo mogelijk nog mooiere dames.
Vroeg me steeds af of het mannelijke publiek nu zo enthousiast werd door de vechters of deze dames.

Uiteraard was good old Glen Huisman aanwezig om alle partijen met de camera vast te leggen.
Kunt u zien of hetgeen in mijn verslag staat een beetje klopt met de werkelijkheid :lol:

De 1e partij was een een N-klasse tussen Imad Hadar van Team Furious vs Tommy Thuring van Sokudo Gym.
Imad had de overhand in deze partij met veel mooie knieën en hij maakte goed gebruik van zijn lengteverschil.
Leuke partij voor een N-klasse, beide heren mogen wat mij betreft vaker knokken in de ring.
Twee jonge vechters die goed naar de hoek luisteren, belofte voor de toekomst.
Jammer dat Imad de beker in ontvangst nam en direct wegliep.
Tommy en Robin Vriend snappen WEL wat een reporter en het (lezers)publiek graag ziet.

De 2e partij was een N-klasse tussen Edinho Tuwanakotta van M-Sports vs Roy Schaper van FC Purmerend.
Vechters waren beiden veel bezig met vastpakken van een been en dan het standbeen wegvegen.
Lukte Roy iets beter en hij scoorde meer met trappen naar het lichaam.

De 3e partij was een N-klasse tussen Alyssa Leek van Kyo Thai vs Lavande Verhaart van Loeks Gym.
Lavande en Alyssa hielden elkaar in de eerste ronde aardig in evenwicht, maar in de tweede en derde ronde
wist Lavande meer en meer de dekking op het hoofd van Alyssa te penetreren en zij scoorde daar een bak punten mee.

De 4e partij was een N-klasse tussen Lorenzo Dollart van Team Furious vs Yousri Belgraoui van Pancration.
Een harde pot die meer C niveau was dan nieuweling i.m.o.
Yousri leek meer ervaring te hebben dan Lorenzo, hij wist door bobbing and weaving de meeste stoten naar zijn hoofd te ontwijken.
Daarbij kwam hij steeds terug met een harde return.
Lorenzo slikte het meeste weg, maar op een gegeven moment houdt het op en kreeg hij 8 tellen aan zijn broek.
Yousri wist direct daarna met een harde trap naar het hoofd Lorenzo zwaar neer te halen.
Was effe schrikken, maar gelukkig herstelde hij snel.

De 5e partij was een N-klasse tussen Fabian Strijder (whats in a name !) van Bearpaw Gym vs John Rapmund Van Kamakura Katwijk.
Ik had nog nooit gehoord van Fabian, terwijl ik John ken als een hele harde kokosnoot, die nauwelijks te kraken is.
Ik had mijn knaken dus op John gezet, gelukkig niet bij Unibet.
Dit was in de eerste ronde afgelopen met een gruwelijke linker opstoot van Fabian, gevolgd door een rechterhoek
die de lampen van John deden uitgaan.
En dan praten we als in een echte zware KO !
Ik hoorde John nog zeggen “ ik kan best verder vechten”.
Fighting spirit was heus wel aanwezig, maar als ik naar zijn ogen keek was hij nog echt niet thuis.

De 6e partij werd geschrapt dus de 7e partij was een C-klasse tussen Caroline Clot van Team Glunder vs Mandy Durinck van Soldier Gym.
Ondanks haar leeftijd wist Caroline de oudere en meer ervaren Mandy zo zwaar onder druk te zetten dat de handdoek in de ring werd
gegooid door de trainer van Mandy.
Verstandige beslissing, daar Mandy zowel op het lichaam als het hoofd zwaar werd geraakt door een waar spervuur van keiharde stoten en geen antwoord had voor de aanvalsdrift van Caroline.

De 9e partij was een C-klasse tussen Robin Ciric van Nebbe Ciric vs Sergio Eckhart van Team Messive.
Leuke partij tussen deze jonge vechters.
Robin maakte nog een mooie spinning backkick naar het hoofd van Sergio en wist hem ook een aantal malen
serieus te raken met zijn vuisten.
Toch was het Robin die met een gemene snee boven het linkeroog door de dokter moest worden nagekeken.
Heb niet gezien waardoor deze snee werd veroorzaakt, mogelijk dat de beelden van Glen uitkomst bieden.
Gelukkig mocht hij verder en gaf hij de winst niet meer uit handen.

De 10e partij was een N-klasse tussen Damian Vermanen van M-Sports vs Illias Banniss van Team de Jager.
Weinig te melden van deze pot buiten een onreglementaire knie tegen het hoofd van illias door Damian en het
gegeven dat Illias een paar mooie hoge trappen in de aanbieding had.

De 11e partij was een N-klasse tussen Bas de Muijnck van team Boat vs Thomas Marko van Kops Gym.
Bas wist tot twee maal toe een mooie hoge trap tegen het hoofd van Thomas te plaatsen.
Beide vechters echt razendsnel, fel en hard vechtend.
Lekkere partij om naar te kijken.

De 12e partij was een N-klasse tussen Roel Mannaart van Mejiro Gym vs Fabian Heil van Oosterbaan Gym.
Ik vond Roel de vorige editie TE aardig vechten.
Deze keer had deze 95 kg vechter zich kennelijk beter voorbereid en wist hij elke ronde overtuigend te winnen.
Luisterde uitstekend naar zijn hoek (“ levertje Roel ” en pats zat er een stoot op de lever).

De 13e en laatste partij voor de pauze was een B-klasse tussen Minh Tran van Team Iron vs Djura de Vries van Aihato Gym.
Minh ging als een speer van start met een spervuur van trappen en stoten waar Djura geen antwoord op had.
Net toen ik dacht “ deze eerste ronde kan nooit lang duren” , kreeg Djura een snoeiharde rechter hoek die haar naar het canvas joeg.
Djura werd staande uitgeteld.
Wie zegt nog dat dames niet hard kunnen slaan ?
Had amper tijd om een fatsoenlijke foto te maken.
Naar mijn mening een TKO, maar werd weggeschreven als een overwinning door opgave.

De 15e partij was een C-klasse tussen Roos Borst van M-Sports vs Shanice Josefina van Mejiro Gym.
Kan ik kort over zijn. Roos was een flink maatje te groot voor Shanice.
Roos joeg haar elke ronde de ring door en het is alleen te danken aan het incasseringsvermogen van Shanice (respect!),
dat zij bleef staan na zo veel klappen tegen haar hoofd.

De 16e partij was een C-klasse tussen Reda Elmernikh van Gym Alkmaar vs Melvin Toirkens van Team Gunyar.
Melvin kreeg op een gegeven moment een trap tegen zijn korte rib ? Nier ?
Hoe het ook zij, er was even discussie rond de ring of hij nu een punt aftrek kreeg na 8 tellen of dat het 8 rust tellen waren.
Frank hielp me uit de droom door te zeggen dat het een punt aftrek was.

De 17e partij was een C-klasse tussen Mike Smith van M-Sports vs Fouad Abdi van Meliani Gym.
Leuke, gelijk opgaande pot.
Vond de jury dus ook en deze partij eindigde in een ONBESLIST.

Weet overigens niet wat Buray daar vastpakt terwijl hij naar de danseressen kijkt :ehhh:

De 18e partij was een C-klasse tussen Arnoux Breek van Olympiawaard vs Eugene da Costa van MTC van Dams.
Arnoux wist te vaak door de dekking van Eugene te slaan, forse series op het hoofd en lichaam.

Deze pot was razendsnel voorbij.
Nadir maakte een spinning kick die vol op de kaak van Jimmi kwam.

De 20e partij was een N-klasse tussen Joep Godijn van M-Sports vs Nigel van Dams van MTC van Dams.
Deze 95+ heren kleunden er flink op los.
Dacht af en toe dat er misschien een TL balk uit het dak zou vallen, mijn hemel, wat een klappen zeg !
Ondanks hun formaat beiden ook nog eens zo lenig als een ballerina, had ik dus ff niet verwacht.
Beide heren hielden elkaar in evenwicht dus dit werd een ONBESLIST.

De 21e partij was een B-klasse tussen Regilio vd Ent van M-Sports vs Lofogo Sarour van Brutal Gym.
Regilio pakte het net even slimmer aan dan Lofogo.
Hij pakte vaak het been vast van Lofogo als deze trapte en maakte dan 1 techniek en liet dan los.
Soms naar het hoofd, soms trapte hij het standbeen van Lofogo onder zijn lijf weg, best bekeken dus.
Beide heren zochten echt naar gaten in de dekking van de ander, dus momenten van relatieve rust
werden afgewisseld door snelle aanvallen van beiden.

De 22e partij was een B-klasse tussen Illias Ennahachi van Otmani Gym/FC 030 vs Yassir Imounachen van FF Carbin.
Illias weet Yassir tot twee maal toe 8 tellen te bezorgen.
Een maal met een hoge trap en de tweede keer met een serie naar het hoofd.

De 23e partij was een B-klasse tussen Sven Twisk van Team Boat vs Ayoub el Guennouni van Team Petres.
Ayoub zocht het gevecht voornamelijk in de clinch, maar Sven wist hem steeds van zich af te werken.
Deze partij was leuk om naar te kijken.
Lekker fel en snel.
Sven WOP. (tot opperste verbazing van Ayoub die direct de ring verliet zonder zijn beker).
Tja, zoals Dana White steeds zegt “ Never leave it in the hands of the judges” .

De 24e partij was een B-klasse tussen Luciano Babel van MAS vs Eric Sousa van Silent Dragon BG.
Heren hielden elkaar prima in evenwicht en dat bleek ook uit de uitslag, ondanks het feit dat Eric nog tegen 8 tellen aanliep.
Die was ONBESLIST.
Ondanks deze onbeslist vond ik dit echt de mooiste partij van het gala.
Dussssssss promotors, wil je echte knokkers op je gala, moet je deze twee inhuren.

De laatste partij van de avond ging tussen Mohammed Mezouari van Otmani Gym/FC 030 vs Chakir Abdellaoui van Gym Haarlem.
Mohammed stond alle vijf de rondes met een sloophamer op het hoofd van Chakir te beuken, maar die gozer wilde maar niet gaan zitten.
Over kunnen incasseren gesproken, wat bedoel je.

Regilio is pound 4 pound een van mijn favo's in vechtsport Nederland. Dat "ventje" gaan we imo nog veel meer van horen. Leuke vent en in de ring een koel calculerende vechter.
