On March 11th, Nokaut will host one of the best MMA events in Europe so far - Ultimate Nokaut 1. The
fightcard is almost complete after the official announcement of the main event in which Kresimir Boganovic
from Croatia will step in the ring to fight Valentijn Overeem! Valentijn is one of the biggest names on the
European MMA scene with fight record of 35 wins and 16 losses. He has fought superstars like Minotauro,
(twice) and Gary Goodridge, while the win over Randy Couture is definitely the highlight of his career.
His opponent, Kresimir Bogdanovic, is 29-year old Croatian wrestler with not so much experience in MMA,
but definitely someone with warrior's spirit. Last year, he scored a quick KO win over Miodrag Petkovic, a
very tough MMA fighter from Serbia with a fine MMA record (defeated Igor Pokrajac and Igor Kolakusic
from Cro Cop Team).
Valentijn won't be the only Dutch fighter on the card since the biggest Dutch K-1 talent, Badr Hari, is also in
the line-up. Badr is 20-year old fighter with an impressive record of 50 wins and 3 losses and 41 KO wins. He
has defeated Azziz Khattout, Errol Parris, Gary Turner and some other accomplished fighters, while
Remy Bonjasky had a hard time scoring a win by decision over Badr. Badr's opponent is Domagoj Ostojic,
a great fighter from Cro Cop Team who's considered as one of the best Croatian K-1 fighters after Mirko
Filipovic. It'll be Domagoj's 19th pro bout in which he will try to improve this record to 18 wins. This fight will
be under K-1 rules and it does have all the makings to be the most exciting clashes of the night.
It's gonna be a redemption night for Igor Pokrajac of Cro Cop Team who'll take on Miodrag Petkovic from
Serbia & Montenegro. In their first fight, Miodrag scored a 2nd round KO win, but this time Igor is promising a
completely different outcome. Can the winner of Durata GP qualifications in Zagreb defeat the best Serbian
fighter in the rematch? Cro Cop Team certainly hopes so, because they're on 0-2 against Petkovic.
