Tijdens het Rings gala van zaterdag 26 mei in Amstelveen zijn de beide hoofdpartijen spectaculair geëindigd. In de hoofdpartij voor de pauze zette Jan Kaffa zijn lange ongeslagen reeks voort door een voortijdige overwinning in de 5e ronde op Danny Moi Thuk Shung. Na vele overwinning in het buiteland waaronder China liet Jan kaffa nu zien ook in eigen land zijn successen te kunnen voortzetten.

De hoofdpartij tussen de zwaargewichten Brian Douwes en Sergio Pique sloot het avondje Rings in Amstelveen af. Brian Douwes wist zich hier te revancheren van zijn verloren finale bij de WFL tegen Clyde Brunswijk door Sergio Pique (die van diezelfde Clyde Brunswijk had gewonnen) in de 2e ronde op KO te verslaan.
Naast deze twee hoofdpartijen zette Rings nog 15 partijen neer in de Nieuwelingen, C-Klasse en B-klasse neer. In de B-klasse waren er overwinningen voor Vernon Piet op Sajad Babadi, Lars Jaarsma op Jeroen van Diemen en versloeg Cem Aygun Ton Berendsen op KO in de 3e ronde. Piet van den Berg vs Jeroen van Diemen en Momolu Roberts vs Reggy Janssen eindigde onbeslist.
