Default Enfusion Test Of Champions - by Dan Green

There is a tingle in the air in the thirty degree plus tropical heat on the island. Amidst the coconut palm trees and across the beautiful sandy white beaches stand 22 warriors ready to be tested in a rites of passage. 18 male fighters and their 4 female leaders will challenge and battle each other until only one survives.

Enfusion is the new reality show brought to you by Edwin Van Os and Super Pro Samui. Eighteen of the world's best 70 kilo fighters, from Thailand to Peru to South Africa to USA, will live, train and fight together on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. Divided into teams and lead by four of the top female coaches in the world; Bernise Alldis, Titiana Van Polanen, Eva Berben and Catarina Valerio, they compete in various challenges to decide who will fight who at Petchbuncha Stadium to win a place in the European final. The winner of the final will receive 40,000 US dollars with also 10,000 for second place and 5,000 third/fourth.

The 18 fighters competing from around the world are:

    Pajonsuk (Thailand)
Mean and hungry, the killer kicker is back having spent his last three years serving in the Thai army.

    Rick Barnhill (England)
Since fighting Drago, the talented Barnhill sees Enfusion has his chance to make it big again on the world stage.

    Armen Petrosian (Italy)
Brother of current K1 Max Champion Giorgio, Petrosyan's punching power will serve him well in this tournament.

    Vuyisile Colossa (South Africa)
Colossa has made a big name for himself giving Yodsanklai Fairtex a hard fight and could be the show's dark horse.

    Mikael Lallemand (France)
Slick technical playboy Lallemand represents France in Enfusion.

    Cyrus Washington (USA)
Washington has spent the last two years competing in Thailand and now looks to open up international opportunities with the show.

    Sucz Barnabas (Romania)
Barnabas continues building his career and won't be a first choice fight for anyone

    Sahin 'Kaas' Yakut (Turkey)

Kaas looks to really make his mark at 70 kilos.

    Goran Aleksic (Serbia)
Fiercely proud of his heritage, the tough Aleksic will be no push over for anyone here.

    Jan Van Denderen (Belgium)
Party king Van Denderen hopes to cause another infamous upset against the big names.

    Steve Moxon (Australia)

Newcomer Moxon has the potential to be Australia's best ever fighter under these rules.

    Pasi Lukanen (Finland)
Lukanen's reputation is pure toughness, not an easy fight for anyone.

    Mirko Vorkapic (Slovenia)
Vorkapic has a good reputation and hopes to take some scalps.

    Bruno Carvalho (Portugal)
Exciting prospect Carvalho will show the world what he has and could be a real star to watch out for.

    Alex Tobiasson (Sweden)
Undefeated in 13 fights Tobiasson is the show's wildcard.

    Frank Peredes (Peru)
Strong boxer Peredes bravely stepped in as a last minute replacement, he is fit and ready though.

    Shane Campbell (Canada)
Campbell could be a real force at this weight with his range and strong technical style.

    Gago Drago (Armenia)
The old Gago Drago is back with a bang - beware!

Each of these fighters is a top exponent under It's Showtime rules. The show will air across the world in 13 different episodes from March on several different channels including RTL7, Al Jazeera, Film 24 (UK) and Xtreme Television, Boets Russia, plus many more.

The final will then take place live on television in Portugal in July with a 4 man tournament to decide the winner and superfights with some of the other contestants. In Lisbon the team captain's will also face each other at 58 kilos in one of the world's best ever female tournaments.

Is het blauwe team niet veeel te sterk? Maarja zal wel zijn om deze 4 zo lang mogelijk in het programma te houden en te zorgen dat ze niet te vroeg tegenover elkaar komen te staan.
