Roy Big Country Nelson uit UCF 125?

Roy Nelson is out of UFC 125 and Jose Aldo-Josh Grispi might be in, according to reports.

Promoters have sent contracts to 145-pound champion Aldo and Grispi for the Jan. 1 show in Las Vegas, Versus.comand the Boston Herald report. It would be the featherweights' debut for UFC following the brand's absorption of World Extreme Cagefighting.

If everything goes as planned, Aldo-Grispi would take the place of Shane Carwin-Roy Nelson as the co-main event. Carwin withdrew from the card because of an ailing back.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship would not confirm Aldo-Grispi, although it did confirm that Nelson is off the card.

Grispi had been scheduled to face Erik Koch on Nov. 11, but that won't happen if the Aldo fight happens, according to Versus.com.
