TUF 17 Finale bonuses: Zingano, Tate, Browne, Pineda earn $50,000

Cat Zingano, Miesha Tate, Travis Browne and Daniel Pineda each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday's TUF 17 Finale event.

Zingano and Tate earned the "Fight of the Night," Browne won "Knockout of the Night" and Pineda picked up "Submission of the Night" honors.

UFC officials announced the winners at the night's post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended.

The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale took place at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The main card aired on FX following prelims on FUEL TV and Facebook.

Tate (13-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Zingano (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) battled back and forth both on the feet and on the ground in a fight with major ramifications in the women's bantamweight division. They traded momentum in the first two rounds, but Zingano turned it around in the third and after a series of knees and punches she got a TKO stoppage. With the win, she earned a coaching spot on Season 18 of "The Ultimate Fighter" opposite women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, whom she'll fight at the season's conclusion.

Browne (14-1-1 MMA, 5-1-1 UFC) returned from a TKO loss to Antonio Silva in October in which he injured his leg to make a big statement against Gabriel Gonzaga (14-7 MMA, 9-6 UFC). Gonzaga stayed after a single-leg takedown, and Browne made him pay with six big elbows that knocked Browne out just 71 seconds into the fight.

And Pineda (18-9 MMA, 3-2 UFC) opened up the card with a quick kimura submission win over Justin Lawrence (4-2 MMA 1-2 UFC), just 95 seconds into the fight. Pineda took Lawrence down early, then again a second time. And on that second time, he isolated an arm and torqued it back, forcing Lawrence to tap.

    Idd.
