Enige wat ie tijdens de breaks kon schreeuwen was "kick his fucking head off, this motherfucker!"
Lekkere coaching.

UFC 203 salaries: Overeem banks $800k, CM Punk gets $500k show purse on $3 million payroll

UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem may have lost his bid for the title, but he still walked away with the biggest disclosed payday of this past Saturday’s UFC 203.

Overeem, who was knocked out in the first round by champ Stipe Miocic in the pay-per-view headliner, took home $800,000 for his efforts, while Miocic earned a flat $600,000.

MMAjunkie requested and today received the list of disclosed payouts from the Ohio Athletic Commission.

There should be little surprise that the event’s next-highest earner was first-time MMA fighter and former professional wrestling champ Phil “CM Punk” Brooks, who took home a cool $500,000 – or $3,731.34 a second – for his submission loss to Mickey Gall at the 2:14 mark of their welterweight fight on the main card. Gall took home a total of $30,000.

The total disclosed payroll for the event was north of $3 million at $3,056,000.

UFC 203 took place at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

The full list of UFC 203 payouts included:

Stipe Miocic: $600,000 (no win bonus)
    def. Alistair Overeem: $800,000

Fabricio Werdum: $375,000 (includes $125,000 win bonus)
    def. Travis Browne: $120,000

Mickey Gall: $30,000 (includes $15,000 win bonus)
def. Phil “CM Punk” Brooks: $500,000

Jimmie Rivera: $48,000 (includes $24,000 win bonus)
    def. Urijah Faber: $160,000

Jessica Andrade: $46,000 (includes $23,000 win bonus)
    def. Joanne Calderwood: $25,000

Bethe Correia: $50,000 (includes $25,000 win bonus)
    def. Jessica Eye: $25,000

Brad Tavares: $56,000 (includes $28,000 win bonus)
    def. Caio Magalhaes: $20,000

Nik Lentz: $76,000 (includes $38,000 win bonus)
    def. Michael McBride: $12,000

Yancy Medeiros: $48,000 (includes $24,000 win bonus)
    def. Sean Spencer: $17,000

Drew Dober: $38,000 (includes $19,000 win bonus)
    def. Jason Gonzales: $10,000

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, including the official UFC Athlete Outfitting sponsorship program pay. They also do not include any other “locker room” or special discretionary bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include pay-per-view cuts that some top-level fighters receive.

For example, as previously reported, UFC officials handed out additional $50,000 UFC 203 fight-night bonuses to Jessica Andrade, Yancy Medeiros, Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem (“Performance of the Night” and “Fight of the Night”).

In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported to the commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for the event.
