Newly-signed Strikeforce light-heavyweight title contender and Dream fighter Gegard Mousasi is well known for his well rounded skills in the cage and ring. The successful MMA star recently took on established K-1 fighter Musashi and demolished his opponent in just one round, abolishing the myth that MMA fighters cannot hang with the best strikers in the world.

Whilst he is fighting against Renato 'Babalu' Sobral and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou at Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg and in the Dream Super Hulk semi-finals respectively, he is also looking to the future with regards to other combat sports.

"I signed a three-fight deal with Strikeforce and I want to box," said Mousasi. "I hope to be part of the Showtime boxing series, too.
Whilst Belfort and Sokoudjou are stern tests, the 24 year-old Dutch-Armenian clearly isn't one to shy away from a challenge and we may see him in the squared circle pretty soon.
